Export Import License

An import licence is a document issued by the national government authorizing the import of certain goods into its territory.

Import licences are considered to be non-tariff barriers to trade when used as a way to discriminate against another country’s goods in order to protect a domestic industry from foreign competition. An export licence grants permission to conduct a certain type of export transaction. It is issued by the appropriate licensing agency after a careful review of the facts surrounding the given export transaction. Procurement of import and export licences are not only restricted but also involves a lot of official obligations.

We, at FCA, assist in preparation of documents and implementing the required changes in the organisation required to procure these licences.
